Renowned wildlife filmmaker Gordon Buchanan walks with wild cheetah families to try to understand their future in Africa. Cheetahs are the fastest land predators on Earth. In a new twist, Gordon follows wild South African cheetah families on foot. Episode 1

With the help of cheetah guides Richard Satekge and Julius Mkhize, this programme follows two cheetah mothers - Savannah and her four cubs in the Tswalu Kalahari Reserve, and Chili and her five kittens in the Great Karoo Wilderness - as they navigate a harsh environment, dangerous wildlife and dwindling prey.
