In 2021, Rhode Island PBS developed and distributed several new high-quality, trusted virtual classroom tools in Rhode Island PBS LearningMedia - a free service with more than 100,000 videos, lesson plans, and study guides for students, parents, and teachers. We continue to collaborate with RI Department of Education and other organizations to best serve students in achieving their educational goals.

Pamela and Michelle - WEEKLY

Since its premiere in November 2020, Rhode Island PBS Weekly has featured more than 100 unique in-depth stories - from challenges faced by local journalism, to new businesses opened during a pandemic, grandparents raising grandchildren, domestic violence and child abuse, black entrepreneurship, racism and bias, and profiles of local artists, musicians, notable sites, and events in history. These stories are snapshots of our past, shape our present, and inform our future.
