Yes, their farm - with live animals, gardens, and greenhouses worked by the students, in addition to the classrooms.
Riverzedge Arts in Woonsocket is an after-school program for high school students. From graphic arts to media arts, students learn hands-on about the different art forms. Students in upper grades apply their creative skills to benefit local businesses, who, as outside clients, hire the students. This win-win situation has students learning a trade in the arts and earning a wage.
In another segment, Rhode Island Classroom visits the Aviation Program at the Warwick Area Career and Technical Center, where students build airplanes and use flight simulators inside their classroom.
