Tell Us Why Your Town Should Be Our Town!
There are 31 towns in Rhode Island - each offering plenty of great stories and great people to tell them. The first location in the Our Town series was Glocester in 2014 - one down, 30 towns to go! Please help us decide where to go next. The Rhode Island PBS Our Town community project is looking for your recommendation. Tell us in 100 words or less why your town should be Our Town.
What makes your town special? Do you have a story to tell about your town? Let us know you are ready and waiting to start!
For this next location, please tell us your story in 100 words or less. Here are some questions to get you started:
What is the name of your town?
What do you like best about your town?
What is your favorite place in your town?
What are some interesting legends or folklore about your town?
In 100 words or less, please tell us more about why your town should be Our Town!
Your entry must be postmarked by January 31. We will announce the winning town on February 16.
