It’s Christmas magic in July!
Get your tickets now for this spectacular seasonal event in November - The Polar Express!
Become a Rhode Island PBS member at the $85 level during the month of July, and receive a family four-pack of tickets aboard the decorated vintage train cars of The Cape Cod Central Railroad Polar Express in November.
Experience the magic of a live reading of Chris Van Allsburg’s iconic story, The Polar Express – complete with cookies and hot cocoa – on a one-hour magical ride to the "North Pole" and back. Music, frolicking chefs, a ticket-punching conductor, and storybook characters light up your child's eyes as the story is read out loud.
When Santa boards the train at the "North Pole" for the ride back to the station, each child receives his or her very own bell, taken right from Santa’s sleigh. Remember, only those who still believe can hear its magic jingle!
This limited time offer of a family four-pack of tickets is open to new Rhode Island PBS members only who donate at the $85 level during July. In addition to the four tickets (approximately $160 value), you also receive a Rhode Island PBS member card, good for discounts at more than 80 regional businesses and attractions. You will also receive our monthly e-newsletter, with behind-the-scenes stories about our shows and station events.
Current Rhode Island PBS members at the $45 level who would like to make an added gift of $40 to qualify for this discount opportunity should call us right away at 401-222-3636, ext. 209.
Free tickets for The Polar Express train ride apply to scheduled departures during November 2013. Reservations must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
