Take to the Trails!
Audubon Society of Rhode Island
Wildlife Refuges in RI and MA

Take to the trails this spring! The RI PBS Kids Club and the Audubon Society of Rhode Island invite families to explore those special places around the state that are accessible only by foot.
Take a nighttime stroll... Search for salamanders... Explore a salt marsh... Discover the rocky shore of Narragansett Bay...
It's a weeklong celebration of planet Earth and Earth Day, with FREE guided nature walks at Audubon wildlife refuges across the state and nearby Massachusetts.
At a time when many children (and adults, too) learn more about the environment from a computer or video screen, families are encouraged to get outside and have fun in nature!
There are programs for all ages, interests, and abilities – from mild birding walks on easy trails to strenuous hikes on steep, rocky terrain.
