Rodgers & Hammerstein’s THE KING AND I
Rhode Island PBS has your tickets to see Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King and I, live at the Providence Performing Arts Center!
Set in 1860s Bangkok, the musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna Leonowens, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King, in an imperialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children.
The King and I boasts musical classics like “Getting to Know You” and “Shall We Dance” performed among visually stunning scenery and elegant costumes.
Rhode Island PBS has your opportunity and great tickets to attend two performance times. Tickets are available for Sunday, October 30 and Tuesday, November 1. Please note that the October 30 performance is a 1:00 p.m. matinee. Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King and I runs from October 30 through November 6. Please visit www.ppacri.org for more information.
