In Another Opinion Returns for Second Season
Last Updated by
In Another Opinion, the local public affairs program addressing key issues that impact the communities of color in Rhode Island, launches its second season on Sunday, January 14. The series is hosted by Peter Wells, publisher and editor of The Providence American, a monthly newspaper that features stories in news, business, education, entertainment, health, and politics.
“There are several public information programs aired on various networks in the state that embrace the majority’s points of view,” Mr. Wells said. “In Another Opinion takes a look at some of the same issues but from the perspective of the minority community.”
For its second season, In Another Opinion will now air two shows a month, on the second and fourth Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
On January 14, guest Nick Figueroa, executive director of College Visions, will discuss college accessibility for first generation and low income students.
On Sunday, January 28, Representative Anastasia Williams, D - District 9 (Providence) takes a look inside the General Assembly and key legislation impacting minority communities.
