Rhode
Island PBS Department of Educational Services televises blocks of teacher training
programs during the school year. In addition, training workshops are held on location
or at Rhode Island PBS Teleconference Center, to provide instruction in basic
and advanced use of appropriate telecommunications technologies in the classroom.
As
a complement to its current educational television broadcast programming, Rhode
island PBS Department of Educational Services also offers educators free Web access
to CEU-eligible programming on the Annenberg/CPB Channel through the internet
link on www.RIpbs.org/Education/viewer.html.
